Tiraspol, December 16. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Government, the Federation of Trade Unions and the Union of Industrialists, Farmers and Entrepreneurs of Pridnestrovie (UIFEP) have signed a trilateral agreement. It was concluded for three years and will be operating from 2020 to 2022. The PMR Government press service reports that the document establishes general principles for regulating social and labor and other related economic relations at the republican and local levels.
As the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, Viktor Ivanchenkov noted, the document was also part of the Pridnestrovian Development Strategy for 2019-2026.
“This is a very important document, on the basis of which territorial documents for our regions and local labor contracts will be signed and developed,” the head of the FTUP noted.
According to him, the past year was fruitful in the framework of cooperation with the Government.
The vice-president of UIFEP Yuri Cheban stressed that the general agreement was of great importance for the development of the republic economy, as it touched on the main points.
“These are mutual obligations to increase economic parameters in various sectors, these are mutual obligations in the direction of employment growth, these are mutual obligations to increase wages in various sectors of the economy and to expand production volumes, this is an increase in investment in the economy, and these are social obligations that are taken on Pridnestrovian Federation of Trade Unions,” Yuri Cheban summed up.
