Tiraspol, December 6. /Novosti Pridnestrovyay/. The second D-day IT conference will be held in Pridnestrovie in February. It is scheduled for 22.02.2020. In general, its organizer – Dex – intends to hold such meetings twice a year – in spring and at the end of summer. It should be reminded, the first D-day was in July. The event gathered about 700 participants and aroused positive feedback from the local IT community, as well as from guests from Odessa, Chisinau and Moscow.
Organizers promise to make the second conference even more interesting.
“We will invite new speakers to be interested, companies will be similar: Microsoft, Yandex, Mail.ru, several large IT customers – VTB, Tinkoff. Those who are the locomotive of IT-movement in Russia will come and tell our children about the most modern technologies. It is too early to talk about any specific topics; we only make up a pool of participants,” one of the organizers, the head of the company Dex, Ivan Gel told Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency.
For the first conference, the company won the Tagline Awards. It is the largest digital competition in Eastern Europe, bringing together about 7 thousand different companies. The awards are presented annually for the best innovative, interesting and qualitative projects showing a high level of Russian and Russian-speaking producers, agencies and in-house teams.
Pridnestrovian D-day was assessed for the scale (700 people for such a small region – it is significant) and for the level of speakers. The company also won several bronze awards for its developed mobile app for the American basketball league.
As the representatives of Dex say, it will help to attract interesting speakers to the second conference.
“How will the second D-day differ from the first one? We want to make division by section. In one audience, it is difficult to unite people of different directions. Yeah, it all applies to IT, but the spheres are a little different. Therefore, we plan to make several sections and define the main directions so that a person can choose a cool theme, a cool speaker and to be where he wants,” Ivan Gel says.
By the way, there were offers to invite Elon Musk. The invitation will be sent, and who knows, maybe it will be interesting for him.
