Tiraspol, December 3./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed to develop a draft law on tourism by March 1, 2020. The legal framework in this sphere has not been formed to date, it was noted at the meeting of the Head of the State devoted to the development of tourism in Pridnestrovie.
It was also mentioned about the training of professional guides, certification of this type of activity, the launch of the mechanism of tourists insurance.
Some ideas and proposals related to the creation of new tourist facilities were also discussed. They can be based on historical places and facts. It is possible to use natural resources of the Pridnestrovian region, there are ideas related to rural tourism, the press service of the President reports.
Entrepreneurs propose to create an initiative group, accumulate all developments and discuss them with an expanded composition with the involvement in the discussion of potential domestic investors. Vadim Krasnoselsky supported the proposal and expressed readiness to discuss practical initiatives.
The Head of the State also stressed the importance of the tourism industry for the economy of the republic, noting that despite the available potential, the opportunities have not yet been realized.
“The talk time has gone into the past, you have to act. There are two directions: to develop tourist infrastructure, creating new objects attractive for residents and guests of the republic, and to inform fully about their availability”, Vadim Krasnoselskiy noted.
