Tiraspol, November 27./Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Next year a new game complex will appear in Tiraspol. It will become part of the Catherine Park and will be located behind the monument to Suvorov. The name will be determined later while all attention is a concept. It is already clear what the park will be. About 20 objects of all kinds will be really interesting, fun and cognitive. And the attractions will make new ones for our city.
“There will be all kinds of attractions, 1-2 meters high figures of heroes from Russian fairy tales, places for rest for disabled children, for mothers with babies. There will also be a tyre, slides, carousels, our children's favourite attraction – roller coaster, a steam locomotive that will drive children all over the park. It is a small plot, but we tried to unite all possible proposals: before it is organized, we gathered a certain circle of parents who expressed the wishes of their children”, Irina Olkhovik, Deputy Head of the City State Administration for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship said.
Also in the park, it is planned a rock-climbing wall, experimentariums (teenagers will be able to carry out physical and chemical experiments there), a small stage platform where anyone who wants to share their creativity will be able to perform. In short, it will be a place of family rest.
In addition, it will organically fit into the general concept of the Catherine Park. It should be reminded: it is planned to be fully completed by the 30th anniversary of the republic. Now work is going on in the De Volan Square. Workers continue laying paving slabs, moving towards the central square. Further direction – on the opposite side, along Suvorov Square and towards the Market. More than 3 thousand square meters of paving slabs have already been laid in the centre of Tiraspol.
“In the De Volan Square, it is planned a monument to Catherine II, it will be ready by September 2, 2020. Now the City Planning Council and architects are working on its design, it will be a monumental structure about five meters high. As for grenadiers in the square, their number will depend on the number of trees have to be cut down. So far, one tree has been recognized as an emergency, but as the trees die, we will cut something out of them”, Oleg Dovgopol, the head of the State Administration of Tiraspol said.
At the same time, he recalled that this year more than 300 trees and more than 1,000 shrubs had already been planted in De Volan Square. This week the park will be replenished with 120 more trees.
