Providing health care facilities with the supplies necessary for their stable functioning has become a key topic of the meeting, initiated by Vadim Krasnoselsky. Working discussion took place at the Presidential Executive Office.
The President, the Prime Minister and representatives of the relevant ministry discussed mechanisms for the procurement of medicines and reagents for medical tests. Minister of Health Alexei Tsurcan spoke about a centralized tendering system, which the department switched to half a year ago, as well as other tools that help ensure an uninterrupted supply of necessary medicines and supplies to hospitals.
The meeting participants spoke about the Pridnestrovian Healthcare Development Concept. The document, which will reflect the plan for the development of Pridnestrovian medicine for the next seven years, is being finalized and will be presented to the public in December. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized the need to acquaint medical workers from all cities and regions of the republic. The head of the department was given the corresponding order.
In the course of the meeting the President discussed with the leader of the Pridnestrovian government the need to purchase an ultrasound machine with a cardiac sensor in the Dubossary Central District Hospital. Residents of Dubossary spoke about this problem today during a meeting between Vadim Krasnoselsky and the region’s assets. Alexander Martynov informed: the issue is under control, the purchase of the device is planned for 2020.
Workshop participants discussed a wide range of issues related to healthcare. The President set current tasks and gave instructions.
