An exhibition in memory of political repressions victims was opened in Museum of Tiraspol Fortress History

Tiraspol, October 30. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Memorial actions within the Day of Remembrance for the victims of political repressions continued by the opening of a thematic exposition in the Museum of Tiraspol Fortress History. The exhibition was created at the Head of the state initiative.

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with the spouse and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia in Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov became the first guests of the new showroom. 

Stands with the finds made during the exhumation of political repression victims’ remains have the considerable part of the exposition space in the museum. These are clothing, coins, ware, underwear crosses, documents helped to identify the personality had killed on the Tiraspol Fortress territory.

At the stands drawings, models, sculptures and samples of a uniform are placed. Besides, the office of People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs is recreated. A part of an exposition of the military and historical museum is devoted to repressions of Cossacks.

«At the exhibition, it is also possible to see the documents provided by the Association of the political repressions victims: photos, lists, memoirs of victims of political repression», - the manager of the museum Denis Konyakhin told in an interview to our correspondent.

Among the guests of the exhibition, there were also those whom tragic events of the 30th years of the last century concerned directly. Emma Krivileva was only 3 years old when her father was taken away by employees of People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs and took away in the unknown direction. Only 80 years later she managed to establish the place of burial of the parent.

«I have sent inquiries to Moscow, Odessa, Chisinau, but did not receive the answer. The place of burial became known only when firing lists went to Tiraspol», - Emma Krivileva told.

«Today, when I have visited the father's grave, I feel better», - she added.

It should be noted that this thematic exhibition is stationary, it is possible to visit it in any time.
