Maxim Kazaku from Pridnestrovie is WAKO Kickboxing World Champion

Athlete competed in the category up to 57 kg

Tiraspol, October 29. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The WAKO World Adult Kickboxing Championship was held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was attended by a trainee of the Tiraspol Sports and Youth Sports School of Wrestling and Boxing, master of sports Maxim Kazaku, according to the website of the State Service for Sports of the PMR. Honored coach of PMR Ivan Derkachenko trained the athlete.

Kickboxer competed in the category up to 57 kg. At the preliminary stage, he got a win against American Dominic Roundtree with a score of 3: 0. In the quarterfinals, Maxim repeated his success with the same score.

Semifinal fight was more difficult. Here he fought with the honored Russian master of sports, three-time world champion, four-time European champion Astemir Borsov. In a bitter struggle, our athlete won with a score of 2: 1.

The final for the Pridnestrovian kickboxer was just as successful. Maxim Kazaku beat the master of sports of international class Sergey Gerasimenko with a score of 3-0 and became the best in his category.
