Tiraspol, October 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovia/. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky welcomed participants of the Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum which started today in Tiraspol. The head of the state stressed that the forum main goal was to state Pridnestrovie and its economic strength.
“Pridnestrovie is unrecognized state and unfortunately there are a lot of myths and wrong information about it abroad. There are so little information on our potential and the people. Everyone remembers the war of 1992 and tells about state unrecognition,” stressed Vadim Krasnoselsky.
According to President, unrecognition is just a word, the main aspects of Pridnestrovie development are peace, law, safeness, economic and ecological stability, social justice, investment possibilities and lack of corruption.
In President’s address, he noted that Pridnestrovie was export-and-import-state, which carried on an international business with 90 states, according the export the state created its own budget and interested in investments.
“We are attractive for investors, but we should to bridge the information gap. The forum will solve this problem”, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The head of the state issued instructions to Government and Investment Agency to form economic offers section on the electronic media base. It will help to a businessman learn Pridnestrovian available products.
“This is metallurgy, power economy, textile, light industry products, agriculture, tourism. We can offer all of this, the world are interested in us. If EU works with us, it is something mean. Our products attractive, ecological, and safe. Nowadays not every country can offer such products”, stressed Vadim Krasnoselsky.
The president also noted that business was offered without any politics and corruption in Pridnestrovie.
“We will make Pridnestrovie better and most beautiful. The unrecognition issue is formal input. Our inner atmosphere is the main goal. It is everyone’s goal: the president, every compatriot. We should not reliance in somebody. It is our goal and we’ll achieve it. We will be attractive for investments,” conclude the president.
Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum is held for seventh time. For the first time it was held in 2009. The event has become annually since 2016 and the PMR Government has organized it.
The PIIEF-2019 brought together representatives of Pridnestrovie, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, Austria, Israel, France, Germany, Italy, the United States – in total 22 countries. The forum will last two days. The topic of the meetings is diverse: the potential of Pridnestrovie in trade and economic relations development with the CIS and EU countries, the modern technologies introduction in business processes, tourist trends and their application in the PMR, investments in IT technologies, the interaction of government and business as the basis of socio-economic growth, youth policy, the environment and so on.
