Tiraspol, September 13. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. «Wishmaster», «Angels of Home», «Love» series of pictures and also portraits, landscapes and still lifes – more than 40 pictures – the best works of Tatyana Shuma — are presented at the exhibition. Talented teacher dated the exhibition title «Pink Cat» for the forthcoming 60-year anniversary of Foynitsky Art School. The exhibition is located in the Tiraspol OSCE Mission Office.
Within the exhibition, Tatyana Shuma presented two paintings with the image of a pink cat and four new works which continues her popular series «Cats’ Lovers». It should be noted that the public saw pathos ladies with cats for the first time ten years ago. A decade later they became more sedate, thoughtful.
The artist has two powerful reasons to continue the «cat’ subject». At first in their family, there has appeared a pink cat with blue eyes. It wanted to show the similarity to people in every possible way.
«People of art» project of Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency devoted to works of the artist became the second reason. The special attention was allocated to «Cats Lovers» series which in 2010 brought popularity to the author. During the project, Tatyana Shuma drew a portrait of our correspondent Svetlana Gulinskaya. The picture became the eighth work of the cycle devoted to cats.
Present cats’ lovers seemed matured, but still, love their pets. They are painted in the same style but with less use of gilded and other fitment paper.
«For example, the painting «Purr» is devoted only to love and understanding between the girl and a cat. Each line of a picture as if speaks about the deep friendship between two beings», - the artist notes.
«This picture narrates about collected bothers of the beautiful brunette who accompanied by the companion will remove them on a background. Not less than till the beginning of the next working week», - the author explains.
Here there are directly pink cats. They show the mood of the artist, her character, the relation to life in this or that situation.
Current exposition of the «Cats’ Lovers» series is complemented with only four works though there are already eight paintings. It will be possible to see the full version next year. At the moment Shuma works on the continuation of this cycle in which she will paint grandmothers with cats. Sketches are already written. Also soon new pink cats and a series of works «The magic cities» will appear.
The artist also says that today exhibition is the big series beginning of displays at the exhibition from the leading teachers of Foynitsky Art School also dated for the anniversary of establishment.
