Tiraspol, August, 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On 2nd September, celebrations dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Pridnestrovie establishment will be held in all cities and regions. The the capital services and departments readiness the for Republic Day was discussed at an expanded meeting held at the state administration.
At the meeting, it was noted that the celebrations would begin at the Glory Memorial. At 8 am, there will be a ceremony of laying flowers at the graves of fallen soldiers. The national flag will be hoisted at 8:40 am, and at 9 am, a military parade will begin on the square, in which more than 1,200 troops will take part.
Festive courtyards from all cities and areas of Pridnestrovie will be available starting from 10 am. This year Catherine Park will be the theme of the capital courtyard. Exhibitions of industrial goods, arts, crafts and artwork will also be presented.
Traffic for vehicles on 25 October street, from the Dniester lane to Manoilova street, will be shut down in the evening of September 1. On Republic Day, all vehicles will move on the parallel streets of the city.
This year, festivities in the capital will be held only in the center. Stage venues that were previously located in other microdistricts of the city will be installed on Suvorov Square.
At 7 pm, a gala concert will begin on the square, in which honored cultural workers and creative teams will take part. This year, residents and guests of the capital will be surprised: the opening of a new fountain complex held at 8:45 pm in front of the Tiraspol cinema. The evening will end with a festive salute.
