Today, PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski held an expanded meeting with the participation of the heads of state administrations, as well as the Chairman of the Government Alexander Martynov, the Speaker of the Parliament Alexander Korshunov and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development - Head of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Road Facilities Ivan Untu. The leaders of cities and regions reported on the work done this year on the improvement of settlements, including road repairs.
According to reports, all road works planned for this year have either been completed or will be completed shortly. As for the plans for next year, the head of state noted that when using new technologies and modern technology, costs were reduced, the quality of the coating was improved and the service life of the roadway was increased.
At the same time, Vadim Krasnoselski reminded that in Bendery, asphalt pavement was already being produced according to advanced economical techniques, and the capital's road workers had gained experience in concreting urban highways. The President drew special attention to the fact that in the latter case exclusively local materials were used.
According to Ivan Untu, the methodology developed in Tiraspol made it possible to refuse to purchase a paver. It was decided to spend the funds already allocated for its purchase on other equipment: rollers, a trailer for the transport of heavy equipment and apparatus for the laboratory, in which the proportions of materials for a particular area will be determined.
During the discussion of the road topic, they talked about the advisability of using technology used abroad. In this case, you do not need to cut several layers of old asphalt to update the roadway.
“The train method is being applied. Ahead is the cutter, crushing the old asphalt. Following it is a special device that injects concrete under high pressure. Then the leveling roller,” Vadim Krasnoselski briefly described the technological method.
At the same time, he emphasized that if we were talking about complex equipment, then it is necessary to purchase it directly from the conveyor, but not used previously. Its repair, as the President emphasized, would then cost more.
“Saving is possible only with new technologies and equipment,” the head of state concluded.
