Tiraspol, August 8. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. Last year the migration decline on the population of Pridnestrovie made about 800 people. The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky announced this data during the expanded meeting with heads of the municipal and regional state administrations, heads of the Government and the Supreme Council.

According to him, about 3600 people went abroad on the habitual residence, and about 2,800 arrived in Pridnestrovie. At the same time, the Head of the state emphasized that migration decrease in the republic is 10 times less than in neighbouring Moldova and Ukraine.

«People get out of there in hundreds of thousands», – Vadim Krasnoselsky noticed. He added that Pridnestrovie is ready to accept also residents of these countries.

In the Dubossary district there is a positive variance between a number of left and number of arrived, the head of the regional state administration Ruslan Chaban reported. It has been traced for already two years. If a year ago the urban population increased, this year the same process is observed also in the rural zone, Ruslan Chaban added.

Actions for improvement of settlements, preparation of the educational institutions for the new academic year and development of the road industry were the main questions of the meeting.

According to the President, thanks to the creation of comfortable conditions in the cities and villages due to the development of infrastructure in the republic there is a safe migration situation in comparison with neighbouring countries.
