Tiraspol, July, 17. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A new, tenth in a row, automated sewing line by Canadian company ES Automatex Solution AB has been launched at Tirotex. It is a world leader in the production of textile equipment. The line is served by only two operators of sewing equipment, which reduces the cost of manual operations. It is usually performed by 18 people per shift.
“The new automated sewing line is a kind of special order, with its own features and complexity of technological execution. With the release of chipped products into mass production on this equipment, we will partially unload manual work, thereby reducing labor costs. In addition, we will be able to carry out this range of orders in the shortest possible time,” the General Director of Tirotex, Andrei Mezhinsky, quotes the enterprise’s press service.
Andrei Mezhinsky explained that the new line was a whole complex with a sewing line and a line of folding products, which includes a practically complete production cycle. A fabric joint seam catcher detector provides quality by discarding assorted products.
“On the line, screening, cutting, tailoring and folding are performed simultaneously. Capacity in 1 minute is up to 5 sheets with width from 150 cm to 330 cm. Up to 2400 products are being produced per shift depending on the size. In a month, this is a guaranteed increase in production volumes, at least 300–350 thousand meters of fabric,” Andrei Mezhinsky said.
The launch of the new line at Tirotex was attended by the Sales Director of ES Automatex Solution AB, Stefan Persson. He noted that the company had already installed 9 automated sewing lines.
