Tiraspol, June 10. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The head of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov commented on participation of the Pridnestrovian delegation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
«SPIEF-2019 is a festival of experience, ideas, breakthrough projects. On the platform of forum representatives of business and scientific community interact with the state bodies. For us as legislators it is really important to understand what directions need to be developed in the medium and short term», – the parliamentary press service quotes Alexander Korshunov.
Also, the head of the Supreme Council regarded this platform for parliamentarians as «intensive-training in knowledge accumulated by the business community and a state administration more than a hundred countries».
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum took place on June 6-8. According to the organizer of the event, Roskongress, more than 19 thousand people from 145 countries participated in it.
The Pridnestrovian delegation consisted of the Deputy Prime Minister of the PMR – the Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik, the head of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov and the director of the Investment Agency Andrey Betanov.
This year SPIEF broke the record on the volume of the signed agreements: in total 650 for 3 trillion 100 billion Russian rubles.
Also among the agreements there is the «Russian trade project» signed between the PMR Investment Agency and the Russian Trade and Economic Development Council.
Heads of the organizations Andrey Betanov and Maxim Chereshnev signed the document. The «Russian trade project» will work in Moscow. Its purpose is to promote the Pridnestrovian producers in the Russian market.
