Vadim Krasnoselsky assigns an important role to people's control. On his initiative, a law “On Public Control in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” appeared in Pridnestrovian legislation, designed to help ensure the constitutional rights and freedoms of a person and citizen. The President has repeatedly called on social activists to step up work on the analysis of the activities of state authorities and administration. According to the President, public control measures are necessary both at the stage of studying proposals and initiatives, and on the results of the implementation of the project. One of the largest projects today is the Capital Investment Program, which started last year. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed the All-Pridnestrovian People’s Forum, (being the leader of the Forum), to check the true state of affairs and evaluate the effectiveness of the tasks and the quality of performed work. Today, the co-chairman - non-governmental organization coordinator Yury Cheban told about the work done and the first conclusions. The control measures were carried out by public activists at the facilities repaired and built by means of capital investment fund in 2018. Almost half of a hundred and fifty socially significant objects were observed by the controllers, who traveled from Kamenka to Slobodzeya. According to Yury Cheban, mainly labor collectives and citizens visiting institutions whose premises are in proper condition, highly appreciate infrastructural changes. The construction and contracting organizations worked well, stated Yuri Cheban. Disadvantages were identified, but their number is small, Yuri Cheban told the President.
Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that all defects should be eliminated without fail. He emphasized that the state fulfills its obligations in full and expects the same approach from contracting and subcontracting organizations. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers it expedient to form a register of unreliable construction organizations in order to avoid interaction with them in the future. Moreover, the question of depriving a construction license of those who have spoiled their reputation with their negligence will be considered. “Overwhelmingly, construction organizations have worked to their conscience. We will not gloss over the existing problems. We must identify and correct shortcomings in order not to repeat mistakes. The capital investment program continues to work, we have big plans for the repair and construction of facilities, without which it is impossible to imagine comfortable living in our country. Comfort is created by people who are sometimes prone to make mistakes. If the error is not intentional, then we will correct it; if it is intentional, we will correct it and punish the culprit. Inspections should not be conducted for the sake of inspections”, summed up the President, urging members of the non-governmental organization and other organizations to continue their socially significant work.
