This was stated by the President Vadim Krasnoselski during his visit to the construction site of the Bendery swimming pool.
“It is impossible to delay the works` completion, but unreasonable haste to the detriment of quality in such a matter is unacceptable. We are talking about our citizens` health, safety and comfort,” the president emphasized.
The head of the state administration Roman Ivanchenko told the President how reconstruction was progressing. Funds for these purposes have been allocated from the capital investment fund and the local budget.
Contractors expect to put the object into operation by December of this year, according to the press service of the President.
The head of the city also reminded that the 25-meter bowl of the pool, designed for 6 swimming lanes, had not been used for about 16 years.
