Slobodzeya district, May 20. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In Chobruchy state memorial Dmitry Rodin Park there took place one of the brightest events of Slobodzeya district – the II festival of folk art and crafts «New Age of Ancestors Traditions!». 16 collectives of amateur performances and 23 collectives of arts and crafts creativity from all the district participated there.
«Such festival is a fine opportunity to get acquainted with national traditions, ceremonies, craftsmen famous for their unique skills», - organizers note.
Last Saturday there were various art exhibitions: photos, products from beads, ceramics and wood in the park. On-stage performance groups sang national songs and danced.
«People have an opportunity to show the achievements, to show national customs and ceremonies. We appreciate our multinational people talents. The most important thing is that this internationalism unites our society», - the head of the district Vasily Tyshchenko noted.
