Tiraspol, May 18. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At the end of April in Taipei (Taiwan) there took place the International art fair Art Revolution Taipei, or A.R.T. Scope of an action – «Artists themselves are art».
Within the fair, the International competition of artists (which is the world's largest art competition of the year) was held. Among its participants, there was also a national artist of Pridnestrovie Yury Salko.
«This year the competition involved 305 works of artists from 87 countries. In total it is 4,546 applicants. Only 90 reached the final, and I was among them. My works win for the last four years. Last year at the A.R.T. fair I won two medals that granted me the right to participate in a current competition of artists», - Yury Salko told in an interview to Novosti Pridnestrovya News Agency.
He stressed that at a competition he performed 10 works in genre of symbolism.
«I devoted the works to a subject of life, various situations we faced with and also spiritual subject. I plan to organize a personal exhibition under the title «Wings». There I will present about 30 last years works and a row of new ones», - the artist concluded.
