Tiraspol, May, 18. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Previous day, Foreign Minister Vitaly Ignatiev met with Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie, Alexander Vataman. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, Alexander Stetsyuk, also took part in the meeting.
Diplomats discussed a number of topical issues in the context of relations between Pridnestrovie and Apsny, as well as promising areas of bilateral cooperation in the current year, according to the press service of the Pridnestrovian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting Vitaly Ignatiev congratulated the staff of the Official Representation on the Education Day of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR noted the professionalism and dedication of Abkhaz diplomats, expressing confidence in the further dynamic development of cooperation between the foreign affairs agencies of the two states.
