The PMR Championship on practical shooting timed to the Victory Day, designed to determine the best among the representatives of the security forces of the republic, is held by the State Guard Service for the second time. 7 participating teams (28 shooters) compete in four stages. The exercises are the following: aimed fire from pistol and assault rifle at targets. An important factor is the completion time. Four of the most effective teams eventually participate in team shooting. The conditions created by the organizers are as close as possible to the environment in which the use of firearms is possible. "Accuracy. Power. Speed "is the motto of the championship and practical shooting, as sport, as a whole.
Commander of the PMR Armed Forces Vadim Krasnoselsky watched over the course of the competition. The President noted the high level of shooting skills of the participants in the championship, emphasizing that this is not just about sporting talent, but about the professionalism of the current employees of ministries and departments. Vadim Krasnoselsky focused on the fact that practical shooting, as a sport, was widely spread. According to the President, shooters need to possess not only skill and good physique, but also excellent stamina and strength of mind. The President noted that over the year (compared to the first championship), the level of training of participants has increased. The President urged sportsmen, representing security agencies not to stop and continue to hone skills. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, this is important for the conquest of new sports heights and, most importantly, for ensuring the safety of citizens of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
The results of the competition were determined both in the team and in the individual classification. The collective award of the highest standard went to the State Security Service. The second place was taken by the PMR Ministry of State Security, the third place was taken by the team of Operational Group of Russian Forces in Pridnestrovie. The personal championship is also in the bank of the State Security Service: Anatoly Karavai is recognized as the champion of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in practical shooting among law enforcement agencies dedicated to the Victory Day.
