Tiraspol, May 17. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Korshunov held a meeting with the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation from «United Russia» party Artem Turov who represents the interests of the Pridnestrovian citizens since 2016.
The representative of Rossotrudnichestvo Nikolay Zhuravlev also participated in the meeting, the press service of the Supreme Council reports.
During the dialogue the Speaker of the Pridnestrovian Parliament thanked the Russian colleague for work on appeals of the pridnestrovians. At the same time, Alexander Korshunov paid attention to questions needed solutions at the level of the State Duma of Russia.
«This are questions of citizenship for the young people born after 1992. There are also questions with the nationality of orphan children who have no parents on passport data. The question of maternity capital is also in the appeal stage. We perfectly understand that it cannot be solved in the short term but I think we will actively continue to work on it», – Alexander Korshunov noted.
The Russian deputy, in return, told about directions of work in the State Duma. He also listed the issues resolved at the legislative level.
«Of course we keep bringing up questions under control. We have already made changes in a row of acts which are connected with nationality. The only unresolved question with the maternity capital is its use for the improvement of housing conditions. And other opportunities (education through maternity capital, use of the funds for mother's further pensions) are available for the citizens of the Russian Federation living in Pridnestrovie», – the deputy of the State Duma emphasized.
Artem Turov also noted that all orders arrived from the Pridnestrovians are solved quickly. 70% of our citizens’ appeals are realized at the moment. And the help of the Supreme Council deputies is very significant because addresses of citizens are often connected with the solution of local problems.
