Tiraspol, April 24. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today in the first half of day the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky visited a number of objects subordinated to the Ministry of Defence and also communicated to representatives of the Pridnestrovian army.
The Minister of Defence Oleg Obruchkov informed the Commander-in-chief on the current situation in Armed forces, told about positive changes and plans for the prospect. They also discussed army infrastructure, the press service of the President reports.
According to the head of the Ministry of Defence, for the first time for many years, public funds are allocated for improvement of army infrastructure. As Oleg Obruchkov told, military personnel, as well as all state employees, lay hopes for the Capital Investments Program. Its realization has already allowed beginning works on a number of objects of the Ministry of Defence. Formation of the lists of objects for the next years continues.
Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that in the conditions of limitation of financial opportunities and a significant amount of infrastructure problems it is important to place priorities correctly. It caused the practice of personal visit by the President of the objects assumed to inclusion in the Capital Investments Program. Oleg Obruchkov is noted that such inspection presidential detours are not the rarity for Armed forces.
The Head of the state has visited the location of motorized rifle division. Vadim Krasnoselsky paid attention to the catering department and the medical case, having noted that living conditions, quality of food and regimentals are important components of effective military service.
Today the President has also visited Lieutenant-general Lebed Military Institute, examined educational audiences and the gym, communicated to the physician of an educational institution.
Vadim Krasnoselsky left a note in the Book of Guests of Honor of higher education institution, having expressed to officers-teachers gratitude for educational combat training of Armed forces staff. The President emphasized responsibility conferred on those who train professional defenders of the PMR.
Further, the Commander-in-chief visited the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School. The state educational institution created at the initiative of Vadim Krasnoselsky in 2017 continues to be equipped. The President examined not only the internal rooms but also paid attention to the sports town, having made a number of recommendations concerning its improvement and equipment.
The Commander-in-chief has a talk with representatives of Armed forces. The discussion was organized in the Tiraspol Suvorov Military School. About 170 servicemen, Suvorov Military School students gathered in the assembly hall of the School. During the conversation, more than two tens versatile questions were addressed to the President.
