Tiraspol, April, 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. From April 17 to 20, the Belarusian city of Vitebsk hosted an international tournament in sports acrobatics with the participation of athletes from the Baltic and CIS countries named the Cosmonautics Cup. 5 countries were presented at the competitions, including team from Pridnestrovie, which included trainees of sports schools from Tiraspol and Sukleia.
Pridnestrovian athletes competed in almost all types of programs and achieved good results
According to the State Service for Sports, men's squad consisting of Artem Topchiu, Kirill Zerna, Kirill Antonov and Dmitry Metelev (age group 12-18) became the winner of the tournament.
The same success was achieved by their teammates in the age group of 11-16 years: Yaroslav Goloton, German Zaitsev, Mikhail Kholostenko and Vladimir Tovstonog.
In the oldest age category - 13-19 years - a quartet from Pridnestrovie - Leonid Babenko, Mikhail Tserna, Dmitry Bargan and Ivan Garchev became the winners of gold medals.
Women`s pair consisting of Zlata Petrenko and Diana Getman in the age group of 13-19 years was on second place in the final results table. In the middle age group of 12-18 years old, the women`s pair Daria Kosogorova and Alexander Chernov, as well as the men`s pair Danil Andronatiy - Stanislav Kharchenko and the women's triple, which included Irina Smarandi, Marina Loginova and Anastasia Foksha, became the silver medalist.
At a younger age - 11-16 years old - a women`s pair, Victoria Bovshik - Karina Chugunova was in the second final position in the judicial record.
In addition, Pridnestrovian athletes won two more bronze medals. Such a success was achieved by the men's squad Andrei Radionov - Anton Saltykov - Danil Lavrov - Arthur Koltsov in the age group of 12-18 years old, as well as a mixed pair aged 11-16 years - Daria Karaban and Yuri Mitrofanenko.
This year, Pridnestrovian athletes will have several more international starts, as well as participation in the Moldavian Sports Acrobatics Championship.
