Tiraspol, April 15. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Russian-Pridnestrovian cooperation was discussed in Moscow. The delegation of the Government and Supreme Council headed by the Prime Minister Alexander Martynov and the Speaker of Parliament Alexander Korshunov met the head of the Moscow Department for Foreign Economic Activity and International Relations Sergey Cheryomin. Participated in a meeting also the Deputy Prime Minister – the Minister of Economic Development Sergey Obolonik, the Deputy Prime Minister – the Minister of Health Alexey Tsurkan, the Chairman of the Committee on the economy and the budget of SC PMR Oleg Vasilaty.
Expansion of cooperation in the field of education
Sergey Cheremin designated: the main directions of development of the capital of Russia are information technologies, housing sector. Mentioned also the big project on a renovation, creation of science and technology parks and introduction of new decisions on planning. Many of these directions can be interesting also to colleagues from Pridnestrovie. According to the minister, the authorities work together for a long time.
«All this can be interesting to you – our colleagues. We are ready to share experience and we invite to active cooperation. We want to report that we continue to work on the line of humanitarian communications. The program for grants of the Mayor of Moscow continues to work. About 50 students from the PMR are trained according to this program, and we will continue to train actively younger generation in Moscow higher education institutions», - the head of the department noted.
Through education cooperation expansion is planned: there are negotiations with rectors of several Moscow higher education institutions for the training of students and holding various training. There is an active work on assistance to compatriots abroad.
Housing and public utilities and infrastructure
In turn, the Head of the Government expressed gratitude to the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow for the support and the help rendered to Pridnestrovie. In particular, the Prime Minister noted that the Development Strategy according to which all public authorities work was approved by the President. The main objective is the development of economy, strengthening of statehood and growth of a living level. All this occurs at substantial support of the Government of the Russian Federation, Alexander Martynov added.
It designated the main areas of work – it is the housing sector and the development of electric transport.
«The Government didn't sit back. For the first time, we have drafted in the budget expenses to resolve this issue, but the sums are rather essential to Pridnestrovie. And in the solution of this problem we plan to move in the medium term», - Alexander Martynov told.
Medicine and investment programs
One more direction is medicine. Today in this sphere the shortage of the equipment, including hi-tech is fixed. However in the republic also try to solve this problem by own efforts.
Within the meeting discussed also investment cooperation. As Sergey Cheremin noded, Moscow is the leader in terms of attraction of the foreign capital.
«Here works for many companies from the European Union. Growth of foreign investments is observed. So we would like to promote our companies guided by western markets to use platforms in Pridnestrovie actively to continue the business missions», - Cheremnin expressed readiness for a new round of cooperation.
Next year it is planned to perform also the economy days. In this direction, it is also planned the cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow. In turn, Alexander Martynov also invited representatives of business circles of Moscow to participate in the annual Pridnestrovian Economic Investment forum.
«Last year the Forum brought together a large number of guests – from Russia, Europe, the USA. We involve business and would be extremely interested in cooperation with Moscow business», - the Head of the Government of Pridnestrovie concluded.
