Tiraspol, April, 2. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Supreme Council of the PMR hosted the meeting of the management of the Supreme Council with the Ambassador at Large of the MFA of Russia Sergey Gubarev. During the dialogue, a wide range of questions concerning both bilateral cooperation, and the process of the Moldo-Pridnestrovian conflict settlement was discussed.
Interlocutors paid special attention to the work of the negotiation 5+2 format.
«The main thing today is to restore rhythmical work of the negotiation 5+2 format. I perceive this format as a certain collective intelligence which after the analysis of a situation helps participants of this format to understand how to move further on a solution of the existing problems between Chisinau and Tiraspol», - Sergey Gubarev noted.
According to the Russian diplomat, the conflict between Pridnestrovie and Moldova is not that simple as it seems at first sight.
«Tiraspol and Chisinau have civilized relations, but it does not mean that it is easy to resolve this conflict. If it was so, then no mediation would be necessary», - he told.
In turn, the speaker of the Pridnestrovian parliament Alexander Korshunov emphasized that the PMR, as well as the Russian Federation, is interested in activization of a dialogue on the platform «A constant meeting …».
«We have a uniform position on activation of work 5+2 format. Therefore it was necessary to discuss a number of working issues, the strategic moments of our movement, and we managed to do it today», - the Chairman of the Supreme Council summed up.
