TATYANA KIROVA: PRIDNESTROVIE HAS ALL THE PREREQUISITES FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMICS

The First Deputy Prime Minister noted that with the production volumes increase the level of citizens' well-being would also increase

Tiraspol, March, 13. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. According to reasonable estimates, Pridnestrovie can count on further economic growth. The First Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Finance of the PMR, Tatyana Kirova, announced this on the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel.

She reminded that the republic had formed an optimal tax burden for enterprises, and was implementing the law on investments, which has already been giving its first results.

“The state conducts an adequate tariff policy, and the leadership of the republic is working to ensure access of enterprises to foreign markets. All this allows us to predict further growth and development of the economy. This year we`ve managed to raise wages and pensions. Further, as production volumes increase, it will be possible to talk about increasing citizens' welfare,” Tatyana Kirova said.

In order to bring the work of Pridnestrovian enterprises to a qualitatively new level, since 2017, the State Management Company (SMC) was created in the republic. Its experts take all the concerns for the optimization and development of economic agents. In the future, another 10 organizations are planned to be transferred to the company.

“As a member of the SMC Supervisory Board, I am often surprised how deeply the specialists of the Management Company involve in the activities of each enterprise, in production processes, in the study of commodity markets and sales markets, and in the arrangement of a development strategy for a particular enterprise in several ways at once,” Tatyana Kirova said.

The Minister of Finance clarified that the final list of enterprises to be transferred to the Management Company had not yet been determined. But they are talking about those organizations that "can be profitable."

On the part of the state, Pridnestrovian enterprises are also supported in solving a personnel problem. As one of the examples, the First Deputy Prime Minister cited a bill aimed at providing certain tax breaks for enterprises working with raw material on a give-and-take basis. One of the conditions is the growth of the average annual wage of labor collectives of at least 7% per year. The law affects enterprises with the biggest staffing requirement - clothing manufactures and shoe-production enterprises.

“For two years, the tax burden in all sectors was settled in the republic, which allows the company not only to pay taxes, but also to develop and to seek funds to attract qualified personnel,” Tatiana Kirov concluded.
