Tiraspol, March, 4. / Novosti Pridnestrovya /. The Cultural and Leisure Center of the Shevchenko Pridnestrovian State University presented a photo exhibition «The XXIX World Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk». It was organized within the Republican reporting and methodical meeting of staff of institutions of the sport of the cities and regions of Pridnestrovie the Press Center of the SPSU specifies.
The representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in Moldova Nikolay Zhuravlev reminded that these days in Krasnoyarsk there takes place the Universiade, which is a global event.
«This exhibition, on the one hand, is devoted to a Universiade, with another – to beauty and greatness of Krasnoyarsk Krai», - Nikolay Zhuravlev considers.
Everybody can visit the exhibition till March 12 and can see the photo works and admire represented Siberian landscapes.
The XXIX World winter Universiade takes place in Krasnoyarsk from March 2 to March 12. About 3 thousand people from 59 countries of the world will become its participants. Participants will award 76 sets of medals in 11 sports: biathlon, mountain skiing, curling, cross-country skiing, a snowboard, figure skating on the skates, ice hockey, short track, freestyle, bandy and sports orientation on skis. The first eight sports are included in the obligatory program of winter Universiades. The freestyle, bandy and sports orientation on skis were included in the program by the decision of organizers of competitions.
