Tiraspol, March, 2. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky addressed on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the beginning of large-scale aggression of Moldova against Pridnestrovie.
Aggressors intended to liquidate the Pridnestrovian statehood by force of arms. They used artillery, tanks and even planes, terrorist groups acted, the Head of the Pridnestrovian state reminded.
«The Lord is not in force but in the truth. The truth was on side of Pridnestrovie. The people rose in defence of the republic, having defended freedom and independence. 804 pridnestrovians died in that war. Among them, there were not only defenders of Pridnestrovie but civilians – children and women died. There were destroyed houses, enterprises, schools, hospitals.
We will never forget a feat of guardsmen, Cossacks, rebels, fighters who protected the homeland and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The President of the PMR greeted defenders of Pridnestrovie and all the Pridnestrovians and wished them good health and peace.
