Dubossary, February, 26. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The WAKO international kickboxing tournament in the K-1 and Low-kick section was held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the city of Sarajevo, from February 21 to 23. According to the website of the Dubossary State Administration press service, the tournament was attended by athletes from 15 countries. Six participants performed for Pridnestrovie.
The Pridnestrovian kickboxer team, trained by coach Maxim Vnodchenko, performed under the blue and white flag of the Republican public organization Dynamo Center Physical Culture and Sports Association.
According to the results of the tournament there are 6 medals among Pridnestrovians in the overall standings. Tiraspol residents Maxim Cazaku and Yegor Barkuta took the highest standard awards. Olga Degot from Dubossary and Dmitry Brazda from Tiraspol are the second best. Timur Parfentiev from Rybnitsa and Maxim Kazanzhi from Tiraspol won the bronze.
