Tiraspol, February, 23. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Head of the state congratulated the Pridnestrovians on the Fatherland Defender Day.
Addressing soldiers and veterans of armed forces, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that in our country February, 23 is really the national holiday uniting all generations of strong in spirit people.
"It is a holiday of courage and patriotism, it is important to each person who is proud of the Homeland and is ready to protect its interests. All of us are proud of the heroic feats of our fathers and grandfathers who protected the country on the battlefield during the Great Patriotic War. The courage and firmness of the defenders of Pridnestrovie who defended freedom and independence of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in 1992 will always be a striking example for young people of our country. We admire the strength in spirit people who devoted life to the service to the Fatherland", – it is said in the text of a presidential greeting.
Today the high combat readiness of all types of Armed forces of the PMR is a guarantor of stability and safety of the Pridnestrovian state, Vadim Krasnoselsky told. He emphasized that the people of Pridnestrovie express special gratitude for an invaluable contribution to the business of preservation of peace to the Russian military personnel.
The President wished to soldiers and veterans of armed forces good health, wellbeing and good luck.
