Tiraspol, February, 20. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The President urged employees of the state media to pay more attention to promoting of Pridnestrovie in 2019. It is about the formation of an image of the republic in the state, and beyond its borders.
«Mass media are called the fourth estate not for nothing. In the modern world, they play a very important role, in many aspects form an ideology. And all of us see what media can today. The question is how to make so that they mostly worked for the benefit of society and state», – Vadim Krasnoselsky said at a meeting of the board of the State Service for Mass Media.
He emphasized that for the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic which lives nearly three decades in difficult conditions media are one of the most significant channels of giving of true information on our state. The President considers that in 2018 the Pridnestrovian journalists took a serious step forward in this direction,l.
«We still have where to aspire. In the long term period the first information about Pridnestrovie on the Internet will be about our people, history, culture, the nature of our land», – Vadim Krasnoselsky told.
The special attention in media, according to the President, should be given to the people of work. «Submit more information on family labour dynasties. Today the republic needs experts. We speak about the creation of new jobs, but there was a situation when 8 vacancies are the share of one unemployed», – the Head of the state noted.
The President considers that on the pages of printing editions and also in TV and on the radio it has to be more information about the Pridnestrovian youth.
«I have met the representatives of creative youth of the republic recently. It is amazing how many talented people there are in Pridnestrovie! It is necessary to tell more about them, about our youth, on-stage performance groups. First of all the Pridnestrovians have to know about them», – Vadim Krasnoselsky noted.
The President aimed journalists at the continuation of active work on the preservation of the Pridnestrovian history and also the culture of the people living in the territory of the republic. In a priority of media there have to be such subjects as the advance of family and cultural wealth, patriotic education of the younger generation, promoting of sport and a healthy lifestyle. The close attention, according to Vadim Krasnoselsky, should be given to professional development of the Pridnestrovian journalists, including outside the republic.
The Head of the state thanked the staff of media and profile service for conscientious attitude and creative approach to work, having wished them further success in their work.
