Tiraspol, February, 20. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Education and health care, sports and charity, law enforcement and patronage of arts ... Today, in the Palace of the Republic main hall, there was held a ceremony honoring the winners of the state art and journalistic contest "Man of the Year-2018".
Rewarding of 19 outstanding Pridnestrovians was prefaced by a video about the most significant events of the past year. Then the State Symphony Orchestra appeared on the festive stage. The audience saw a real parade of awards to the musical piece Train.
Addressing the winners, the head of state Vadim Krasnoselski noted that we can only achieve goals by working together.
“The goals and objectives for all public authorities, the entire state in general, are defined by the Pridnestrovian Development Strategy. But behind its execution there are people who work by the machine, in the field, guard law and order, defense capability of our state, work in a medical gown and save our children, and those who bring culture to people through their creativity. It is thanks to these people and their work that we can achieve our goal. There is only one goal - the development of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” - Vadim Krasnoselski stressed.
To the sounds of the State Symphony Orchestra, each of the winners was presented with a statuette, a medal and a laureate award.

“Master of his Craft” - Arthur Untu, Director of Stagor LLC.
“Labor Valour” - Director of Sewing Production at Tirotex CJSC Irina Burlachenko.
"The Best Automobile Transport Worker" - Ivan Portaresko, driver at Spros LLC.
“Man of his Land” - Director of Pik-Agro LLC, Andrian Tampey.
"Man in the Field of Veterinary Medicine" - the chief veterinarian of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk, Director of the state institution Republican Center for Veterinary-Sanitary and Phytosanitary Wellfare, Oleg Karpinski.
"Honor and Gallantry" - commander of the military unit of the Armed Forces of the PMR, Colonel Albert Gnatovski.
“Law and duty” - Vladislav Zhuk, First Deputy Minister of Justice.
“Law and Order” - senior operative worker of the criminal investigation department of the Rybnitsa Department of the PMR MIA, police major Victoria Radionova.
“Medical Practitioner of the Year” - Anna Abilentseva, Chief physician of the Bendery referral hospital.
"Social Activist" - Director of the Bendery G.N. Badanova Junior Sport School, Joseph Geris.
“Journalist of the Year” - editor of the creative projects editorial staff of Radio-1 of the Pridnestrovian TV and Radio Company, Olga Shevchuk.
"Entrepreneur of the Year" - Director of Tavera LLC, Vera Chimpoesh.
"Achievement in Sport" - Yevgeny Karabetsky, senior coach and teacher in swimming at the capital's Olympic Reserve Junior Sports School.
"Teacher of the Year" - the head of Shakhmaty exemplary team of the Children's and Young People's Creative Arts center, Rybnitsa, Yuri Golotin.
Natalia Kravets, Deputy Head of the State Administration of the Dubossary District for Social Issues, won the award for “Mercy”.
The artistic director and principal choirmaster of the Pridnestrovian State Choir Tatyana Tverdokhleb was recognized as the best in the nomination “Talent and Recognition”.
"The Young Discovery of the Year" was the teacher of the church painting workshop of the Bendery Higher Art College named after Postoykin, Olga Gorobchenko.
In the new nomination “Philanthropist of the Year”, the head of Viancher LLC and Metan-Avto, Sergey Alekseev was pronounced the winner.
“Volunteer of the Year” is a graduate student of the Pridnestrovian State University, co-director of Assisting Together Non-Profit Partnership of Social Welfare, Yulia Makarenko.
