Tiraspol, February, 18. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. At the initiative of the President of the PMR, two new museums will appear in the republic. Implementation of the projects was discussed at a meeting with participation of representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tiraspol and Bendery state administrations, by representatives of culture sphere and also museum workers, social activists and priests.
As the Press Service of the President reports, the Museum to the Victims of Political Repressions will be opened in the Powder Cellar of the Tiraspol Fortress. The exposition about the ancient period of the history of the Pridnestrovian region will be placed in the showroom of the Aleksandro-Nevsky Park.
As it was noted, the Museum of the Victims of Political Repressions has to be opened in Tiraspol on October 30. The new exposition will be placed on the square which will be freed with the opening of the temple. By the way, today orthodox ceremonies are held in a Powder Cellar.
According to experts, there are enough exhibits for the future museum. There are a lot of things, household items, documents revealed at the recent excavation. Its result was an exhumation and reburial of remains of hundreds of citizens shot in 1937 at the walls of Fortress. The inventory and formation of the general base are carried out at the moment. Lists of the shot are received in the Chisinau national archive. Besides, there is available furniture for creating of an exposition «The Office of People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs».
Vadim Krasnoselsky paid attention to the expediency of studying experience of creation of similar museums in other cities.
The Head of the state emphasized that there are no trifles in organizational issues: placement of exhibits, light registration, information maintenance is important. But the most significant aspect the President of the PMR called full leaving from the politicization of a question.
«It is possible to argue on the past, estimating these or those historical events and the facts, but the most important is to keep history, without politizing it, taking the bark off and conjectures that actually had happened», - Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.
According to him, it is about ascertaining of historical facts, need to pay a tribute to the memory of the dead, saving data on the past for future generations.
One more moment on which Vadim Krasnoselsky stopped, is an illustration of the events connected with repressions against the Cossacks. This tragic page of the Soviet history is unfairly deprived of attention of descendants, the President considers. A part of an exposition of the Military and Historical Museum «Tiraspol Fortress» will be devoted to this subject.
Also, Vadim Krasnoselsky studied sketches of a monument which is planned to be established on the formed Memorial and Historical Complex. The Head of the state paid attention to the need for improvement of the adjacent territory, providing access roads, walking paths, parking spaces, lighting and other infrastructure units. In general, the Head of Tiraspol Administration Oleg Dovgopol is appointed responsible for the implementation of the project.
The Adviser to the President of the PMR Pavel Prokudin who supervises this project told about the creation of the Museum of History of Antiquity of Pridnestrovie.
This exposition will be placed in the showroom located in the territory of the Bendery Aleksandro-Nevsky Park.
According to Pavel Prokudin, the work initiated by the Head of the state in this direction is already conducted. Several meetings are organized. From the huge massif of the available materials artefacts which will be presented on a public inspection are selected. The model of a barrow and a diorama are developed. The choice of furniture is coordinated with experts of the museum.
«It is important that it was suitable not only for placement of a so-called Scythian exposition but also subsequently easily adapted for use at the organization of other exhibitions», - Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized.
Speaking about the importance of creation in Pridnestrovie of the Museum of Ancient History, the Head of the state noted that the republic is its successor, and the Pridnestrovian land is the keeper of numerous historical riches.
«The artefacts got due to efforts of archaeologists should not disappear in a subsoil of museum storages and university archives. Any museum piece perishes without «communication» with the person», - the President emphasized.
Vadim Krasnoselsky is sure that at the correct organization, reasonable selection of materials, creative approach and application of current trends at registration of an exposition and also high-quality information maintenance the museum of Scythian culture will attract interest not only of the Pridnestrovians but also foreign tourists.
The exposition has to be placed in the showroom by the beginning of a tourist season – to May-June of the current year.
