Dnestrovsk, February, 12. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The CEO of the Moldavian Hydroelectric Power Plant Alexey Shirma reported that the power plant worked steadily last year. «There were neither take-off, nor falling, nor stops which were observed in 2017», - he noted.
At the same time, there is a growth of indicators. At the same rated capacity (2520 MW) in comparison with previous year 10% more electric power was made: 3 billion 930 million kWh against 3 billion 557 million kWh in the 2017th. Speaking about the Pridnestrovian enterprises buying the electric power from Moldavian Hydroelectric Power Plant, Alexey Shirma especially stopped at the Moldavian steel works which last year worked without long idle times and wished to steelmakers to overcome consequences of the Ukrainian sanctions.
Still prevailing foreign market for Moldavian Hydroelectric Power Plant is Moldova. The last year's contract for delivery thereof the electric power is valid till April 1. According to Alexey Shirma, the day before the power plant submitted the preliminary application for participation in a competition. The CEO did not report a detail, but noticed that the Pridnestrovian power engineering specialists can change the offers – everything will depend on an environment including political.

As for the expansion of foreign markets, according to the CEO of Moldavian Hydroelectric Power Plant, it is early so far to speak about it. He called the Ukrainian market unpromising in view of a difficult economic situation in this country. «There the offer exceeds demand», - Alexey Shirma said, having emphasized that to compete with local nuclear power plants thermal which Moldavian Hydroelectric Power Plant is, at a prime cost of the electric power initially cannot. The European market (the power plant in the Soviet period exported the electric power to Romania and Bulgaria) so far is inaccessible too. The Moldavian power supply networks are not integrated into the EU. There is the corresponding project, but as the CEO emphasized that it can be realized not earlier than 2025.
If to take the financial performance of work of power plant, then most eloquently tell the finance charges which grew by 30%. Considerably also investments in the enterprise increased.
