Tiraspol, February, 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The previous year results were summed up in Tiraspol. As the head of the Tiraspol state administration Oleg Dovgopol noted at the meeting, salaries were paid in time in 2018, and reserve for teachers` holiday payments had been created for the first time. The practice will continue in the current year, 3.5 million rubles have already been raised for this purpose.
Last year, thanks to the capex program, the city managed to repair 26 and begin construction of 3 social facilities. These are kindergartens, schools, sports facilities and culture. Food processing units and kitchen equipment were also updated in several schools.
In the road sector, according to the head of state administration, it was possible to make an unprecedented amount of work on the average road works and for the first time to apply the experience of concrete casting. This year, the road workers will get in the quads: 100 thousand rubles have been allocated for each electoral district from the city budget to clean up domestic territories.
Particular work has been done as part of the Year of Equal Opportunities; it will also continue: they will install devices and mechanisms at social infrastructure facilities to make them more accessible for people with disabilities.
At the meeting, they talked about the work of public utilities. Oleg Dovgopol noted an increase in the share of payments from Tiraspol residents in the total amount of funds collected from the population for water and sewage. At the same time, after the distribution of this money, the city gets back much less, which negatively affects the condition of the networks and the quality of the water. With regard to heating systems, the tears grew fewer, but there are a lot of complaints about the quality of hot water. To reduce their number, the company is actively working to restore the reverse water supply system.
Another topic that was discussed at the meeting is the completion of long-term construction. There are three of them in town. Cooperatives have already been created that allow state employees to get their own houses at low prices.
“The average cost of an apartment is from 5 to 7 thousand dollars, depending on the square at the rate of 120 dollars per 1 square meter. Construction is carried out with the money of shareholders. Shareholders are strictly state employees working on the territory of Tiraspol ... We undertake increased obligations that these houses will be commissioned in the shortest possible time and Tiraspol residents will be able to house themselves” - the head of state administration said.
Plans for this year are also quite ambitious. This is the completion of the facilities started last year and the start of the planned work within the framework of the capex fund, the repair of roads and quads. The riverfront and the city center will also be improved, new squares will appear and existing ones will expand.
