Tiraspol, January, 30. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In a study of the Head of the PMR there took place the meeting with a delegation of Public joint-stock company Gazprom which was headed by the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Russian company Valery Golubev.
Welcoming guests, the President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky noted the importance of smooth functioning of the gas transmission system and the value of dialogue with representatives of concern. Meetings have regular and system character that does cooperation fruitful, the President emphasized.
The parties discussed the issues concerning ensuring the Pridnestrovian market with natural gas and the organization of its transit in the context of updating a number of legal provisions.
«Any sort decisions have to be made taking into account the interests of Pridnestrovians – carriers of the sovereignty of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic», - Vadim Krasnoselsky told.
He called power independence an important component of statehood, self-sufficiency and independence of the country.
Valery Golubev, completely sharing this position, noted that for the performance of the tasks facing Gazprom within the legal framework it is necessary to carry out serious work which will be directed including to protection of interests of residents of Pridnestrovie. Acceptance of timely measures is demanded also by end of the period of validity of contractual obligations.
«At any changes, all risks for Pridnestrovie have to be completely excluded», – the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the PJSC Gazprom emphasized.
Officials exchanged views on the current situation in the gas sector, current problems and versions of their decision. Spoke about the prospects of development of cooperation between Pridnestrovie and the company Gazprom.
Participants of a meeting agreed to continue constructive interaction, the Press Service of the President reports.
