Tiraspol, January 30. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Last year nearly a half of jobless citizens was employed in Tiraspol. If more precisely, it is 46% of officially registered in the jobcentre unemployed. Last year there were 929 people, and about 3 thousand people asked for help in employment.
It was most difficult to find work to people without education, with primary professional and higher education. The most needed are people who received secondary professional education. The average age of unemployed among men is 44 years, among women – 41.
«All in all enterprises and organizations declared 2,097 vacant positions, from them 1,014 – working specialities, 683 – the official employees connected with replacement. The most popular are seamstresses, weavers, cooks, drivers and general workers in the construction sphere. Among the less popular specialisations, there are, for example, political scientists», – told the chief specialist of Tiraspol Department of Employment Assistance Elena Baturina.
To help people, in the centre also professional orientation courses regularly hold consultations. They help to train for a new profession and find work on demanded specialities. Besides, some organizations and departments give an opportunity for temporary employment in public works.
As reminded in the jobcentre, citizens who have difficulties with the finding of work on the speciality, can complete free of charge courses and be retrained on the cook, the confectioner, the mechanic, the driver and other expert demanded in labour market.
