During his working visit to Moscow, the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Trade and Economic Relations with the Republic of Moldova Dmitry Kozak.
The presidential press service reported that interlocutors discussed a wide range of topical issues. Special attention was paid to the opening of the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in Moscow.
The head of the Pridnestrovian state spoke about the goals, objectives, functionality, priority and long-term work plans of the new diplomatic institution of Pridnestrovie. The meeting participants agreed that representation is an important element in the practical implementation of foreign policy objectives in the strategic direction of cooperation with the Russian Federation.
The President of Pridnestrovie paid special tribute to the Russia leadership for supporting the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester banks, which has been providing peace and security and creating the conditions for a peaceful dialogue between the parties for 27 years.
During the workshop, attention was paid to the situation in the negotiation process. Among the priorities under the current agenda of the meeting is the need to establish inter-bank cooperation.
They talked about other topics that are significant for strengthening and developing Pridnestrovian-Russian relations. Interlocutors consider bilateral contacts productive. They agreed to continue constructive cooperation. Vadim Krasnoselski expressed gratitude to Dmitry Kozak and through him to the leadership and the people of the Russian Federation for the continued attention and support provided to Pridnestrovie.
