Tiraspol, January, 16. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR there took place a meeting between the head of the department, Vitaly Ignatiev, and the head of the Mission of the International Organization for Migration in Moldova, Lars Johan Lonnbak, who replaced Antonio Poloz in the post last fall.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that during the meeting the interlocutors discussed the project activities of IOM, in particular, in the field of safe migration, the study of modern migration processes and the Pridnestrovian diaspora abroad.
Vitaly Ignatiev noted the long-term activity of the International Organization for Migration in the Pridnestrovian direction and expressed the hope that the achieved level of cooperation would be maintained.
As part of the conversation, there was an exchange of views on the parameters and possible directions for further cooperation, as well as on the relevant aspects of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement.
