Tiraspol, January, 8. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. According to the Ministry of Health, on January 1, 10 children were born in Pridnestrovie: 8 boys (Kamenka, Rybnitsa, Bendery, Slobodzeya, Tiraspol) and 2 girls born in the capital. And on January 7, on the Orthodox celebration of the Birth of Christ, the population of the republic increased by another three boys (Tiraspol, Rybnitsa) and four girls (Slobodzeya, Grigoriopol, Tiraspol).
As the news agency Novosti Pridnestrovya reported earlier, mothers of children born on holidays (January 1 and 7, 2019) would receive gift certificates. The corresponding instruction to the heads of local state administrations was given by the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski. Women will be given certificates and flowers.
The certificate gives right to purchase goods for 3 thousand rubles in the shops of High Tech Ltd. The same documents will be received by mothers whose children will be born on March 8, May 9, June 1 and September 2.
The head of state expressed the hope that that practice will become a good tradition in subsequent years.
