Tiraspol, December, 18. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Next year, the state intends to allocate funds for the repair of equipment and infrastructure of PMR Armed Forces. PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski said that separate funding is provided for providing uniforms for servicemen.

At the final press conference, the head of the Pridnestrovian state spoke about the plans for the next year in terms of the army maintenance.

“From the capital investment fund we will allocate money for the repair of equipment and infrastructure, and also for the uniforms. We must keep our army in proper conditions. This is the goal for the next year” - the President said.

According to Vadim Krasnoselski, today the result of the authorities work in popularizing the service in the army is already visible. “The most important result is an uncompromising fight against hazing in the Armed Forces. To date, the facts of assault and hazing are practically negated. There are no criminal cases initiated” - he added.

The President reminded that that year the government had been able to change the philosophy of the service. For the military, a working day regime was introduced; a system was created whereby recruiting students can continue their studies.

“We will not move to an exclusively contract army, but we will have a mixed one. We will use both recruiting resource and contract service” - the head of state said.

Answering the question of the Ministry of Defense representatives, the President mentioned the successful experience of restoring the sanatorium “Dniester Zori”. It should be reminded that the sanatorium hadn`t been accepting guests for a long time, then it had been transferred to the balance of the defense department.

“The structure and staffing were revised completely. I am glad that in such a short time (three months), with the support of the Government in terms of historical debts, it was possible to launch this facility. In November, 100 people rested there - mostly retired ones, now another 140 people stopped by, then another 100 people” - Vadim Krasnoselski said.

The head of state believes that now the sanatorium "Dniester Zori" has become profitable. Thanks to this, the state will be able to provide a privileged category of citizens with vouchers for rehabilitation.

“And in the future we will develop this object “Dniester Zori”. In the summer it will be a territory for children`s rest. The most important thing is that this object has become accessible to citizens of Pridnestrovie” - the President said.
