Foster student of the Republican cadet military school of PMR Internal Affairs Ministry 11-grader Leonid Gusarenko visited international children's center Artek in Gurzuf on the Crimean peninsula. It was the 13th change of the current year and it gathered more than three thousand children from all over Russia, neighboring countries, as well as from some European countries, including France and Greece.
The topic of arrival is a journey through the “Sunny City” from the fantastic novel by Nikolai Nosov about Neznayka., Children's camps of Artek have become Nosov towns for three weeks: sports, theater, chess, and fun. The guys were able to try themselves in various professions.
Leonid Gusarenko was in marine affairs troop, whose members studied marine knots, the semaphore-flag alphabet and many other areas related to the maritime theme. Going out to the sea in boats produced an unforgettable effect on the young man. In addition to specialized disciplines, Artek students also studied school subjects: physics, mathematics, history.
At the sports festival, Leonid Gusarenko set a camp record for push-ups. For 30 minutes, while lying down, he did 525 push-ups. Cadet brought not only a well-deserved medal and a diploma home in Pridnestrovie, but also a lot of positive emotions. This journey opened a lot of new skills for Leonid and attracted many new friends to his life.
