Tiraspol, December, 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. According to the press service of the Supreme Soviet, in December, Pridnestrovian parliamentarians will take part in the meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the State Parties for the Democracy and the Rights of Peoples community.
Let`s remind, that it includes the legislative bodies of South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie.
The meeting should be held in the capital of South Ossetia, Tskhinval no later than December 19. Chairmanship in this international organization should move from South Ossetia to Pridnestrovie during that meeting.
The head of Pridnestrovian legislative body instructed the Vice Speaker Galina Antyufeeva to form a delegation of the Supreme Council to travel to South Ossetia and participate in the IPA meeting of the state parties of the community “For Democracy and the Right of Peoples”.
More than 10 years ago, South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Pridnestrovie signed an agreement and formed the community of states "For democracy and the right of peoples." Within the framework of this international organization, the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly was established, bringing together the legislative bodies of the three countries.
