PMR PRESIDENT: NO CONCESSIONS! PRIDNESTROVIE FOLLOWS THE PRINCIPLES OF INDEPENDENCE

Vadim Krasnoselski said, that in the negotiations with Moldova only a compromise on social and humanitarian issues in the interests of Pridnestrovie residents is possible

Tiraspol, November, 29. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/.  At a consultative assembly of the first deputies the head of the republic Vadim Krasnoselski said, that PMR will build good-neighborly and mutually beneficial relations with the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, and the Russian Federation.

Describing today`s circumstances in the foreign policy direction, Vadim Krasnoselski drew attention to the degradation of relations between neighboring states, stressing that in those circumstances Pridnestrovie remains loyal to the principle of building good neighborly relations with Moldova, Ukraine and Russia.

“There is no alternative to the negotiation process. We are a peace-loving state. We strive for peace and are ready to defend it” - Vadim Krasnoselski said.

The President reminded that a number of agreements had already been reached in negotiations with Moldova (apostilization of our diplomas, participation of Pridnestrovian transport in the international traffic, functioning of Moldovan schools in Pridnestrovie, etc.). 

At the same time, Vadim Krasnoselski stressed that there could be no concessions on the part of Pridnestrovie.

“There will be no concessions, I assure you. It is necessary to compromise on the issues that the lives of ordinary people depend on. We follow the principles of independence, uphold the position expressed in referendums” - the President said.
