Tiraspol, October, 27. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, in one of the military bases of the PMR State Security Body there was organized an open day, that already became traditional.
Demonstrations with participation of border guards and special forces officers were organized on the military base parade ground. Its participants demonstrated to the large public the techniques of hand-to-hand combat (and other martial arts), work in bundles, capture and neutralization of criminals. Professionally trained service dogs became an unexpected surprise for conditional trespassers.
Today anyone could visit the base. The whole families were coming to visit SSB troops. The exhibition of military equipment and weapons was a real holiday for children. 
Unlike traditional expositions, the rule “not touching” was irrelevant there. To be photographed on the armoured vehicle, pat the service dog, disassemble the machine gun, and even experience the thrilling ride simulating a parachute jump — all this could be done after waiting for your turn.
The center of attraction for boys and girls was a shooting gallery, where guys could work on their target practice while shooting from various types of air guns, as well as an improvised minefield, where it was suggested that an explosive object be found accompanied by a sapper and in full ammunition.
Also, this year, all comers had the opportunity to ride horses. Another innovation was the participation in the action of the patriotic organizations Star and Victory Heirs, which presented stands with weapons from the times of the Great Patriotic War and retro cars. 
“This event is being held for the third time. The first one was held back-to-back with the century of the security agencies and was of great interest. About 2 thousand people visited it back then. Therefore, the leadership of the SSB decided to hold it regularly” – Maxim Kravets, head of the SSB press office, told.
Upon the holiday completion, everyone could taste the soldier's porridge and warm up with a hot tea.
