Tiraspol, 14 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Foreign minister Vitaly Ignatiev has met today the head of the Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission to Moldova, Antonio Polosa. The European official is finishing his diplomatic mission, which began in Chisinau in 2012.
During the meeting, IOM project activities in the field of safe migration, research of modern migration processes in Pridnestrovie and the Pridnestrovian diaspora abroad were discussed.
"The relevant aspects of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian settlement were also touched upon; the parties exchanged views regarding the implementation of the agreements reached during the negotiation process last year," the MFA's press service reports.
Vitaly Ignatiev thanked Antonio Polosa for the many years of IOM's active work in Pridnestrovie and expressed hope for the continuation of constructive cooperation.
