Tiraspol, 29 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev has sent a congratulation to the foreign ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia and South Ossetia Daur Cove and Dmitry Medoyev on the occasion of their recognition by the Syrian Arab Republic.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR reports Vitaly Ignatyev has noted that the establishment of diplomatic relations with Syria is the result of highly professional and systematic work aimed at expanding the space of external contacts of the republics and recognizing their independent status in the world.
"This step was yet another vivid confirmation of the commitment to the course approved by the people which is aimed at building their own state and the undeniable success of its diplomacy," stressed the minister.
