Tiraspol, 21 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Bendery Tragedy Day, 19 June, must be commemorated in every corner of the country, President Vadim Krasnoselsky said during a conference call with the heads of state administrations.
He instructed them to draft a schedule of events together with local unions of PMR defenders. The president is planning to hold a meeting next week to discuss this issue. At the same time, a plan for an opening ceremony of a new trolleybus line in Bendery on June 19 must be drawn up by the same day, the president's press service reports.
The president recommended that the regional heads carefully approach the preparations for the festivities on the occasion of the end of the academic year - last school day ceremonies and graduation balls. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew attention to the fact that plans should be developed taking into account the fact that graduates with honours will come to Tiraspol for an award ceremony.
"Any kind of blunder can spoil the holiday for children, their parents and teachers, which is unacceptable," the president stressed.
The leadership of cities and districts is also recommended to take an active part in the celebratory events dedicated to the Children's Day. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that pupils of orphanages, boarding schools, specialized educational institutions should not remain unattended on 1 June.
According to the results of the first quarter of the year, the heads of state administrations will have to report and prepare a plan of further actions for the implementation of landscaping programs. Vadim Krasnoselsky stressed that it was necessary to seriously approach the issue of preparing planting stock for the autumn.
Referring to the execution of a capital construction program, the president recalled the personal responsibility of the heads for the timeliness, transparency and quality of works and for the funds allocated by the state.
The construction of housing facilities is also under the president's control. This issue will be discussed at an extended meeting scheduled for next week.
