Dubossary, 14 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The championship of Moldova on traditional karate (Kumite) was held among juniors in Chisinau. About 40 athletes born in 1998-2003 and elder represented various karate clubs.
A Dubossary team of three trainees representing the Fudoshin club, headed by Bagdasar Gevorgyan, took part in the competition, the press service of the Dubossary State Administration reports.
The Pridnestrovian athletes won two medals. The first place among girls was taken by Ekaterina Dorma (b. 2002) in the corresponding age category. The silver medal was won by Eugenia Vityuk (b. 2003).
