Tiraspol, 10 May. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. President Vadim Krasnoselsky inspected the reconstruction of premises in Tiraspol Suvorov Military School, the presidential press service reports.
The leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the educational institution told the President about the school's current and future plans. Vadim Krasnoselsky gave a number of instructions and recommendations, suggesting that the bulk of work should be completed by the first anniversary of the school. The educational institution was opened on 3 September 2017.
Today the president visited, in particular, the kitchen and checked the quality of food. According to the Ministry of Defense, part of the kitchen equipment needs to be updated. Vadim Krasnoselsky said that in the near future the school's canteen would be replenished with two cookers and an electric hot cupboard.
The head of state also talked to the teachers. According to them, working with Suvorov cadets is not difficult; the teaching process delivers joy to both teachers and pupils. Vadim Krasnoselsky drew the attention of teachers to the fact that cadets are, first of all, children.
"You cannot deprive them of their childhood. Children should have the opportunity to communicate with their families and friends, participate in various activities. Only then will they become harmonious personalities," the president believes.
To date, 195 children are taught and brought up at Tiraspol Suvorov Military School. The school plans to enrol another 44 cadets in two fifth forms. According to the schoolmaster, Sergey Aleksandrov, the number of boys who want to become cadets is much more.
"The parents came directly to us because they see in what conditions our cadets live and study and what results they achieve," explained Alexandrov.
